2. Data we process and its source

We process data you provide directly through forms, email, telephone, proposals, contracts or social-media interactions. We may also receive professional data from the company you work for, previous business relationships or publicly accessible professional sources. Non-essential cookies are enabled only when you consent. When consent is denied, advanced Google Consent Mode v2 may process technical signals and cookieless measurements, such as URL, timestamp, browser, referrer and consent state, without reading or writing stored identifiers.

Depending on the interaction, we may process identification and contact data, professional data, billing and contracting data, communications, marketing preferences and technical browsing data. We do not request special categories of personal data through the website.

3. Purposes, legal bases and retention

  • Enquiries, forms and quote requests: to respond, prepare proposals and take pre-contractual steps. Legal basis: consent and, where applicable, steps taken before entering into a contract. If no relationship begins, data will be retained for up to 12 months after the last interaction.
  • Clients, suppliers and professional contacts: to manage the contractual, administrative, accounting and support relationship. Legal basis: performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations and our legitimate interest in maintaining the professional relationship. Data will be retained for the duration of the relationship and the applicable statutory limitation periods.
  • Marketing communications: to provide information about related services. Legal basis: consent or, for clients, the previous contractual relationship where permitted by Spanish e-commerce law. Data will be retained until you withdraw consent or object, after which only the minimum information required to record the opt-out will be kept.
  • Analytics, advertising and optional services: to measure website and campaign use and enable features such as the contact widget. When consent is denied, advanced Google Consent Mode v2 may send cookieless measurements without stored identifiers for basic measurement and modelling; the legal basis applied to this limited processing is the controller’s legitimate interest in understanding aggregate website performance. Full analytics, advertising, Metricool and optional services rely on consent managed through the cookie preferences panel. Retention periods and controls are described in the Cookies Policy.
  • Social media: to respond to interactions and manage our corporate presence. Legal basis: consent arising from the interaction and our legitimate interest in responding to professional communications. Data is retained while the interaction continues or until it is removed from the relevant network.

4. Recipients and processors

We do not sell personal data. Service providers may access data when providing hosting, website maintenance, email and collaboration, administration, CRM, analytics, advertising or customer-support services, subject to the applicable contractual safeguards. Data may also be disclosed to public authorities, courts or other bodies where required by law.

5. International transfers

Some technology providers, including Google, Metricool or Superchat, may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where applicable, transfers will rely on an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses or another valid mechanism, together with supplementary measures where necessary. Specific information about cookies and providers is maintained in the Cookies Policy.

6. Your rights and withdrawal of consent

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and data portability free of charge. You may also withdraw consent at any time and object to marketing communications. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. Send your request to privacidad@comodoromarketing.es or to our registered office, identifying the right you wish to exercise. We will request additional information to verify your identity only where necessary.

We will generally respond within one month, which may be extended by a further two months in the circumstances permitted by law. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

7. Automated decisions and profiling

We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects or similarly significantly affect you. Analytics tools may produce aggregated statistics or segmentation, but these are not used to make such decisions.

8. Further processing

If we need to use personal data for a different and incompatible purpose, we will first provide information about the new purpose, its legal basis and any additional information required by law. Where necessary, we will request new consent.

9. Security and confidentiality

We apply technical and organisational measures proportionate to risk to preserve the confidentiality, integrity, availability and resilience of information. Access is limited to personnel and providers who need it for their duties and who are subject to confidentiality obligations.

10. Children

Comodoro Marketing services are intended for businesses and professionals and are not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect children’s data through this website.
